This whole series in the LA times is really good. My teenage son has a mild form of Asperger’s and it’s SO hard. For all the info and “awareness”out there,the world is a remarkably cold and mean place for people with autism. There’s lot’s of early intervention and stuff for young children on the spectrum,but at about middle school age it goes away unless you have a ton of money. I get so scared for my son sometimes. What will happen to him if something happens to me?
