We will never explore the stars in the way we need to with America’s military budget so high.

We are spending money to keep America’s military at levels that are not needed for the current geopolitical threat to the USA. We could reduce the American military budget by a third and we still would not have any competition. But military spending seems to be the only socialism all politicians seem to love.

If we could place weapons on some Mars spaceships we might get a bigger NASA budget.
