Naturally, the church claims that the “pig rassle” is free of animal abuse. It’s just part of a yearly event that includes Mass, dinner, a parade, raffles and a live band. Good clean American fun—go to church, watch a parade, have dinner, dance, and terrorize some animals before sending them off to slaughter.

I’m sure Jesus (a.s.) would be very, very proud. //

P.S. I can’t help but wonder why participants have to sign a waiver to participate if there’s no danger or abuse involved? Guess theie insurance company doesn’t think it’s quite so harmless, huh?
