All of your points only strengthen my argument that the only reason his middle name is an issue at all is because it is of Muslim origin. His middle name is an issue to you because it points out he is/was Muslim.
I agree with the points you’ve made about his policy but using his middle name as grounds for explaining this is wrong-headed. You’re saying, he does this because he is/was Muslim. I think he does what he does because he is an ignoramus. That is the difference, and it’s is big one.

What I *am* saying is the the man himself made his middle name an issue. People ran with it in both directions. Neither direction is worse or better, they are just directions. What *does* matter is he used it as a ploy to divide. And you, by your initial post, jumped onto the bandwagon yourself. The manner in which you did it is what is bothersome to me.
