That’s a new one. I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian home, went to fundy Christian schools for 14 years. Peer pressure was always considered bad because peer pressure made good kids do bad things—smoke cigarettes, hang out with the wrong kids, have sex, use bad language, etc.

But I guess it’s all just so very “manly” for the new faux Christian teabag patriots to be allowed to bully people.

Most of the so-called Christianity of the tea partiers I can’t even recognize. It’s pure tribalism, with nothing religious or sacred about it.
