I think I get now why the GOP and their media allies like to talk about “Taqiyya” so much. It’s just more of their projection. It’s fine for Perry to lie and claim that the stimulus created not a single job. It’s an obvious, total, idiotic lie, but it’s fine for him to say it— even though everyone knows it’s a lie— because it’s in the service of his ideology.

Shouldn’t it worry the GOP that they closely resemble what they profess to hate?
