Honest opinion? Many celebrities like to boost their image by taking up “causes,” regardless of how much they might agree with those “causes.” And since PETA sells itself as being concerned about animals, despite evidence in court that the bulk of the animals turned over for it for adoption ending up euthanized, celebrities take up its “cause.”
