A politician who is not there to talk politics?

He was there to raise money.

The event was planned some time in advance (it was not planned on the heels of the mass murder).

That said, Rep. Ryan (ZEGS) doesn’t care about dead children: He’s a conservative. Children need to be sacrificed on the altar of conservatism. The teacher in the article was questioning his faith and that is not allowed in any religion.
