I don’t know about Ronulans, but my brother has a theory - the more Klingons running around, the better that version of Star Trek is.

Next Generation = lots of Klingons = hit show!

Enterprise = very few Klingons = dead in the water.

Heavy Metal is a reasonable substitute for Klingon Opera.
