Tort reform should be key to any changes to our system. Bad law suits cause so much of the defensive medicine and high malpractice insurance costs.

Any third party payer (insurance) is like walking in to the clinic and handing them a blank check. I have asked so many people why they had this procedure or this test and they don’t know. The doctor said they needed it and their insurance covered it so they got it.
