Yes, but it was tried in Italy.
They didn’t try the case or the evidence so much as they tried an image of a femme fatale: sex-obsessed, vindictive, predatory, manipulative.

That’s why I was surprised actually I don’t think they would have gotten the conviction here. But who knows… Not that I’m saying she or the boyfriend are innocent, but so much mishandling of evidence and forensics from the little I read.

She was fined millions of Euros to the family and also quite a bit to the fellow she falsely accused as well.
