“Vilify” comes from Latin vilis, meaning “cheap, base”.

I vilify those who refuse to vilify evil people and their willing tools. The evil ones are base, and the tools are cheap.

They get their politics on the cheap, because they’ve cheapened their minds to the point of thinking that the word “peace” covers up for stupidity.

They get their base friends with the base coinage of misguided sympathy for causes they can’t be bothered to investigate for themselves.

I hold them cheap, and find them base.

Vile bastards.
