So a school not willing to fund a group that does not follow the school’s non-discrimination policy is persecution?

This is similar to why I find vouchers/charter schools disturbing. How can I reconcile giving tax money to say a religious school, when their hiring and retention policy are discriminatory. Catholic schools firing pregnant single mothers for example.
