I pray that you think very carefully about what you’re saying. No, maybe Nixon hasn’t handled this as well as he could have. But he is a decent Democratic governor of a state that could easily go full red. He has kept our crazy Republican legislature from doing plenty of stupid crap. You want him to resign and be replaced by some Sam Brownback clone? THINK. The situation has thrown the governor for a loop but he will learn from his mistakes.

I don’t necessarily want Nixon to resign myself, but he has to be held accountable for his abject inaction over the past few days, especially the last two, because it’s fucking unacceptable.

If I were a MO Democrat, I’d be absolutely furious and burning up every line of communication to the governor’s office I could find in order to tell them to do something constructive to the situation (and not doing fucking photo ops miles away from where all of this shit is going down).
