There is a good rationale for requiring cops to wear body cameras, too.

I’d like to add atop that that, while wearing that camera, any attempt to disable it or tamper with the video from the moment they clock in til the moment they clock out will be an automatic suspension without pay, with any attempts after that grounds for automatic dismissal from the force and forfeiture of benefits.
