Still working on this, because most poor whites see poor blacks and Latinos as their enemies, not their allies, because they’ve been convinced that all the work they do would get them to the top if only the others weren’t in their way. Total myth, but they believe it. And I wonder if anything short of a Great Depression Civil War can fix it.
