The fact is a lot of them (the Western ones) may not be at all anti-Semitic in their hearts, may be able to honestly say that they don’t hate any individual Jews that they know, and yet participate in actions that are anti-Semitic. That is part of the huge problem that Israel faces; their enemies are not just those that hate the Jews, but also those that hate Israel— due to the propaganda and their total lack of engagement with the truth about the situation.

It’s not as easy as antisemitism is to explain, especially because so many young, liberal Jews in the US are becoming less and less Zionist. That is why it’s so important for Israel— and those who are her friends— to get the real story out there.
