I just had a 2 hour chat with my favorite (wingnut) nephew. He thought the Senate should reject any Obama nominee. I couldn’t pin him down on why that would be a good plan.

I thought Obama mic-dropped people like your nephew fairly effectively today. Basically, the erudite version of “Do your effing job, assholes.”

What really angers me is that people like Mitch McConnell are just straight up saying “I know this is wrong, but I value the party over the Constitution I allegedly swore to protect.”

Within an hour of Scalai’s death, no less. At least ISIS is up front about wanting to fuck over America to get what they want.
