Just because you need a second party doesn’t mean you need the GOP. It’s as illogical as saying, well, we have only one party and we need a second one, so any will do, so let’s take a look at NSDAP.

If Cleveland fell into a bottomless pit, the Blue Dogs would split off in a nanosecond and we’d have reasonable back-and-forth discourse and the world would keep turning.
