Depends on the meaning of “smart”. For personal political gain probably not, to make more money for the family, probably yes. I’ve come to see Palin as a green tomato, picked well before maturity for normal usage, but now that its picked, perhaps there is some pickling or frying that can be done to make it useful as a side dish or garnish.
