Thanks for your insight. That all of the solutions attempted thus far have not worked can only be judged in hindsight. Although, I was a little alarmed at the ‘let’s throw some stuff down into the hole” attempt. It makes you wonder why no one could anticipate this sequence of events when you look at the live video feed.

As an aside, if there are huge quantities of oil being wasted and flowing into the Gulf of Mexico, why is the price of oil and the price of oil shares going down? I understand this upside down world when I talk about gold, but I don’t have any insight into what seems to be a counter-intuitive arrangement in the world of oil and pricing.

well as bad as the spill is it is only one well & not enough to change supply or demand. the price is down because demand is down, demand is down because the economy is down.
