It definitely does. But I was also thinking about the two countries we have, we have the more liberal side that has embraced modernity. We eat from taco trucks, we celebrate a SSM union the same way we would any other wedding, etc but then we have the right. It’s somewhat geographical but it’s also a mindset thing too. Trump is far more “urban” than I am. I’ve never lived in a city before but he’s the clown prince of the latter movement who is threatened by change.

And the people who knew him best and had been exposed to his antics the longest in those urban areas were the ones who rejected his candidacy most soundly.
