I was trying to be open minded. I listened to Al Franken’s show. It was just terrible.

The good left wing show is the Stephanie Miller show, that’s really the only partisan show I can listen to. Because they were actual radio professionals and comedians!

Other than that, the only talk radio I listen to is satirical talk radio that makes fun of the medium itself, and the only guy doing that are Phil Hendrie and Rick Emerson.

The proof that it’s mostly rubes and ancient people with oxygen tanks who listen to right wing talk radio is that guys with zero talent and zero show like G Gordon Liddy and Mark Levin still have a show, just totally worthless and skill-less as broadcasters but the ideology matches the fools who listen, so hey, game on. That’s the 65 to dead demo, they simply will listen to anything that reflects their prejudices

The reason liberal talk radio doesn’t “work” like right wing radio is liberals en masse would not listen to such a shoddy product. Some do of course, Ring Of Fire is still a show, but you could never get one liberal host for everyone to rally around like Limbaugh, you simply cannot get the common demoninator that low
