Oh well, the rw never met a dictator they didn’t like. Look what they did to their bastards Saddam, and Noriega once they were no longer useful.

Oddly, people say the same of the left. Both statements are selectively true, although I would say that the right tends to dispose of its dictators when they become politically problematic, as you point out, and the left goes on championing increasingly irrelevant monsters until they drop dead of old age.

(Note here that I generally don’t classify party Democrats as being ‘the left’.)
