Does this graphic appear to be one sided?

That graphic tells you nothing unless you are already of the opinion that both sides lie with roughly equal frequency.

Like I said earlier, the “fact-checking” sites mostly seem to be trying to appeal to those people who are invested in that opinion.

I happen to think that the facts support the opinion that Republicans lie with far greater frequency than Democrats. Witness birtherism. Witness climate change denial. Witness WMDs in Iraq. Witness “death panels”. Witness Michelle Bachmann. Witness Alan West.

To me, therefore, that chart simply tells me that the “fact-checkers” are divorced from reality, with the goal of chasing a self-satisfied “middle ground” of people who can’t accept that the GOP has gone off the rails.
