30 teams x 12 players a team = 460 total players. There are over 120 division 1 college teams, not counting the smaller schools, and I’m not even counting the international players. I think there are three rounds in the NBA draft every year for a total of 90 players drafted, and maybe 30% amount to anything remotely above average.

My point is that it is pretty fucking hard to make it in the NBA.
