I read an article, which made sense to me, that the debate won’t really be about Trump because he is already very unpopular and the media constantly cover everything he says, so there isn’t much support for him that can be easily pealed away; Trump is already only polling about 41% in the RCP average. Instead the debate is Clinton’s opportunity to talk about her popular policy proposals, which the media don’t cover, to a wide audience, and hopefully add to her support and strengthen her lead.

That is a good point. She will be in front of people that most likely do not watch her much because they pre-hate her based on their politics and those that don’t follow along all that closely and might not like her based on what others tell them about their own Hillary hate. A chance to change some minds…if there are any minds that can be changed left.

Sell ‘em Hillary. Ignore the Orange Oaf in the room, just go around and over him.
