Thanks for the 1st hand account. I often question Oprah’s judgment when she makes stars of these loons—don’t forget her promotion of Dr. Oz and giving Jenny McCarthy a platform for her anti-vax bullshit.

*Blink* We’re talking about Marianne Williamson, right? Woo-woo peddler from way back? Only in a very, very, very tangential sense can you say that she’s spewing Christian doctrine. What she’s teaching comes out of the trance-channeled document “A Course in Miracles”, which she has reinterpreted. I am not trying to defend Christian orthodoxy (I find Christian orthodoxy annoying), but just pointing out that in the world of religion, Williamson is definitely on the New Age side and DEFINITELY in it for the money.
