Ron Paul is going to be there, and has said that he has a big announcement coming - one rumor going around is that he may be leaving the Republican Party to join Gary Johnson on the Libertarian Party ticket.

Good for him. Now, if only that can be important in a state that Obama now wins because the ripest fruit in the Republican basket votes for the duo. Funnily enough, things are bad enough for Republicans to where I’m not sure splitting off Republicans will even matter. Things are tight in North Carolina, so maybe it would help there. I think Florida will go heavily Obama once senior citizens there realize Paul Ryan owns controlling interest in Soylent Green, Inc.
