Listen man, the fix was in the second Michael Brown’s brains splattered all over Cannfield Drive on that awful August afternoon. The police and prosecutors have been actively protecting Darren Wilson from any scrutiny whatever. The authorities in St. Louis County have obfuscated, reversed themselves, doubled down on spurious facts and evidence and have been openly contemptuous of anybody who might be upset about the whole thing (see: loaded rifles pointed at unarmed protesters).

Whatever Michael Brown’s transgressions, he didn’t deserve to die that day. And everyone who saw it happen said he had his hands up.
