The subtext here is the same as many conservatives: Our ideas will only win elections if we can restrict the vote to those we like.

Erick son of Erick (I think) proposed that only property owners should be allowed to vote a couple of years ago. If it wasn’t him, it was some other right wing dweeb. Cons can only win if they can manage to keep everyone else from voting.

Coulter’s proposal would disenfranchise me, and I’m white and 60. And as others on Twitter noted, it would mean neither Donald Trump nor Melania nor Ivana’s kids could vote, even if they had bothered to register.
