I saw our very own @jaunte retweet this, and just had to post it here. A big legal victory here in Minnesota, as the George Floyd protesters prevail in their civil suit against the Minneapolis Police Department for their heavy-handed tactics in the summer of 2020. Part of their punishment:
Police are barred from arresting or using physical force against people engaged in lawful protests. That includes:
✊🏿No flash bang/concussion grenades
✊🏽No foam-tipped bullets
✊🏻Police at protests *must* use their body-cams.— ACLU of Minnesota (@ACLUMN) November 30, 2022
