I think this was true from the start. Kind liberal tendencies made us squeamish to say it. But the data is pretty compelling.

For most wingnuts, calling them “mentally ill” is letting them off easy and is an insult to those who truly are mentally ill.

Most of them are willfully ignorant, set in their ways, and follow a twisted, atavistic moral code.
