Everything they hate about Mandela either came about because they refused to stop support apartheid or he had no direct hand in. Soviet-backed? The West refused to help them. Terrorists? Most of the attacks and violence they associate with him came after he was already in prison. And if they’d been US-backed, we’d call them “freedom fighters.”
