So Trump allowed Javanka to talk him into firing Kelly, expecting Ayers to take up the job without any real delay. Instead, Ayers suddenly announces that he’s decided to spend more time with family, i.e. get out of the way of the oncoming shitstorm that is going to be the last two years of the Trump administration. Or, for those keeping score at home, Donny once again acted on impulse without first making sure that his plan would work. Now he’s scrambling to act as though this was always the plan.
