Roberts already refused to kill the ACA twice when better legal arguments were made and it would’ve been less politically costly to the GOP to do so. So it would be really bizarre for him to do it now. He’s conservative, but he’s not foolish; just look at how he refused to let Wilbur Ross get by on his lie about the census question when the other 4 conservatives would’ve.
