It was the non-union front office of a family-run company (that contracts with Local for actual manpower). The two families that run it were and are obnoxious Republicans. So that’s three strikes against them.

I didn’t even get into a fight with him. The only thing that I did was ask for him to lay off his adulation of Trump in front of my face, and he refused. He then fired me behind my back.

In any event, I had repudiated the right rather quietly, but this assured me that I made the right choice in doing so.
