Yep, and you’d call, and the person wouldn’t be there. So, you’d call again later, and then person still wouldn’t be there. And then you’d get busy, and forget to call a third time. And finally the thing you needed to resolve would be passed and you were screwed.

I’d leave a message, and they’d call me back.
