Well I know what I am doing as soon as I get a well paying job post degree :). On a neat sidenote, I have the family histories for both my surname as well as my dad’s mom’s. Really neat how I got the last one. I got both when I was studying/living in Ireland. We were on our way back from a trip to County Kerry for a weekend and I was out of cash. They have family history things at the reststops there and the Irish are very interested in Americans with Irish ancestry. I merely wanted to see the history just so I had an idea. After all, there are no people with my dad’s mom’s surname left (she had one brother, a Catholic priest) so the man was like I’ll tell yo uwhat I’ll give you thsi for free. Today, it hangs framed above my bed right next to my Irish Brigade flag that I modeled my tattoo after.
