My grandmother took us to mass a few times. I’ve been to two Christmas masses and one Easter mass, all before I was a teenager. I thought it was boring. And all the kneeling and standing and all these people around me reciting the liturgy in unison, I thought it was, well, a little creepy.*

*Please, LGF Catholics, I mean no disrespect! I was never a Catholic to begin with, just saying what I remember. I still have lots of family who are still practicing Catholics.
