Mississippi looks like a disaster when it comes to Covid, but then it’s a disaster for a whole range of economic and health metrics. As of today when sorted by deaths per million, it is in a solid first place, with a state that should know better in 2nd place:

This alone is true more times often than not…and I live in this state. The fact we suck so much drives me mad.
