My across the street neighbor was notified a couple years ago that his brothers remains we’re found in the mountain’s of New Guinea by tribal hunters…..
It was a somber yet settling memorial for a fallen hero!
Four other crew members were finally laid to rest!
…I believe they were downed in a B-24………
Rest in peace indeed!
