I don’t think it’s quite practical to go for complete self sufficiency. I suppose I could almost make it with my own veg but meat might be impractical. I don’t think hunting would be a very reliable source of food. I did research my local trout stocked lakes and I think I’m going to make an effort to start fishing again. There are a couple lakes 20-30 minutes away from me. They’re kinda urban so they aren’t very pretty but it should be a quick and reliable food source.

For protein per sq ft, it’s hard to beat 20 chickens.
