I read some Alaskan blogs, remnants of the Palin effect. They are bitching that their socialist shaing in the oil bounty is only 700 per man woman and child this year. Used to be 2500. Sister Sarah and her brood are hurting. As well as any Alaskan counting on the socialist spreading of the wealth. Bummer. Exxon still wins.

Rick Perry and Texas are where its at. North Dakota, too. Even if Alaska doesn’t yield as much oil as thought, we’re finding more from other sources now. The production within CONUS is especially good because it also gives us an abundance of natural gas, which we can liquify and sell to Europe.
