re: #184 Lidane

I just had an RWNJ ask me if I would be okay with an LGBT person demanding that a Jewish baker make them a cake on the Sabbath. I had to point out that their example makes no sense. If that Jewish baker is observant enough to not work on the Sabbath, their customers, both gay and straight, would know that because the bakery would close early on Friday and be closed all day Saturday. There would be no way to demand a cake on the Sabbath.

if they worked on the sabbath, they must serve everybody on the sabbath. and if a muslim artist makes nasty pictures of mohammed, he must make them for everybody

and a jewish baker cant refuse to make a christian wedding cake and a christian baker cant refuse to write hebrew on a wedding cake

but nobody can make you get out of bed at three in the morning to work, and nobody can make you make things that your business does not already produce
