re: #157 De Kolta Chair
Speaking of the show business, one of the very best writers of our time, playwright Edward Albee, has passed away at the age of 88.
I caught a production of his play “Seascape” on Broadway thirty years ago and I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor.
I saw his “Malcolm” on Broadway 50 years ago—I think it only ran for about a month-it was really weird. I mostly remember there were treadmills around the stage on different levels
Hmh—just looked it up, and reading the NYT review doesn’t make the story any clearer, but they do describe the stage set the way I remember it.
