BUT! We have to strike a careful balance. I strongly feel that, if we play it right, they’ll take care of themselves.

It seems to me that the biggest danger at this point is that they try to engender a war with a hated enemy just to keep in power. They almost need a war at this point (or something they can call an atrocity), to keep control.

You have a good heart. Of course it is a weakness in my view. None of this is personal. I just see a world of hurt ahead. Things will continue to bend and then they will break. Hope will not change any of it. Same as it ever was.
