Ideological purity doesn’t serve the Democrats well, not when they’re not only trying to keep the White House but attempt to take back Congress. You’re not going to get coattails if you’re working to piss off a significant contingent of Democrats who identify as moderates.

Is there a single perfect candidate for Democrats? Nope. It’s going to be a compromise. But even a compromise Democrat candidate is better than any of the GOPers under consideration.

Not sure who I’d vote for in the NJ primary (and probably the decision will be made well before then who the Democrats will be nominating by then), but I know what button I’m pushing in November.

And it isn’t the GOP line.

Yeah, this quest to find the ‘perfect’ candidate is a fool’s errand.
Ain’t ever gonna happen.
Never. Ever.
Why do so many on the left think they exist?
