It’s a great video story. And a great lead in to the Oppenheimer movie coming out soon.

Watching it, I was thinking that if I had teachers like the folks who created that video, I might have gone into physics instead of detesting it.

You could still learn it. And there are plenty of books for non-scientists that can get you excited about it.
