How do you plan to pick them from the second story?

They are planted about 3 feet away from the house, once they grow up tall enough I’ll just put a ladder between the beans and the house. There’s no need to put the ladder out now because there are no beans yet and the ladder would be sort of an eye sore. I’m only going to harvest the bottom ten feet on the vine anyways. The top part is just for shade during the hottest months.
